The Bluewater Folk Society (BWFS) is pleased to announce the 20th Thumbfest Music Festival which will occur from 10 am – 10 pm on Saturday, September 3, 2022, throughout the scenic Lakeside Village of Lexington Michigan.
There is NO cost to attend!
Thumbfest attracts over 5,000 people and features great musicians from all over the state of Michigan and other parts of the Midwest. Multiple performance stages can be found throughout the Village of Lexington as well as jam sites, an open mic stage, workshops, and instrument give-away sites. Music styles range from traditional folk, singer/songwriter, blues, Cajon/creole, klezmer, traditional and gypsy jazz, bluegrass, gospel, and many more.
In between the music you can peruse the many arts and craft vendor tents located by the main stage. If you get hungry, you can sample a variety of foods from the food trucks as well as the wonderful eateries located throughout Lexington.
