The Sanilac County Historical Society has planned a day of celebration in honor of the Loop-Harrison Mansion’s Sesquicentennial, or 150th anniversary.

The community is invited to join in the celebration, and thanks to some generous sponsors, it’s all free.

A live performance by the Dodsworth Saxhorn Band (DSB), sponsored in part by the Michigan Humanities Council.  The DSB performs in costume, plays vintage instruments, and performs music – all from the 1870’s

Guided tours of the mansion, Outdoor architectural tours of the mansion, Horse and wagon rides sponsored by Highline Internet, Victorian cameo silhouettes sponsored by Semco Energy, Interactive/hands on games from the 1800’s sponsored by Semco Energy, Vintage juggler and stilt walker, Birthday cake – sponsored by Virginia McNabb Town & Country Realty LLC, Selfie station – dress up in our 1800’s costumes and enjoy a fun photo opportunity!,
